About the Committee

As an Incorporated Association, the Committee is responsible for upholding the ‘Echuca Moama Toy Library Incorporated Rules’ as mandated by the ‘Associations Incorporation Reform Act’. The Committee’s job is to ensure that the Toy Library complies with the Act and that the Toy Library functions effectively to the benefit and enjoyment of all members. Here are some reasons you may like to join the Committee of management:

  • Help the Toy Library continue into the future
  • Have fun!

What does being on the Committee involve?

Committee meetings are held approximately 8 times a year, usually via Zoom on a weekday evening. Meetings usually run for about 1.5 hours. There will be other occasions when the Committee is required to help out, for example: during stocktake; when the Toy Library is involved in community events; assisting with promotional activities. Each Committee member will be given a copy of The Rules so that they can familiarise themselves with these.
